World Retail Congress

Where Ideas go Global

The World Retail Congress brings together the leaders of today’s global retail industry – from domestic and international powerhouses to game-changing start-ups and disruptors. They are united in their focus on understanding and serving today’s consumers, and ensuring that their businesses change and innovate at the break neck speed necessary to survive and thrive. The Congress provides an unrivalled high-level forum for senior retailers to learn, share insight, form powerful connections and shape the retail future.

We were asked to help rejuvenate the brand. To help shake off a preceived image of an ‘Old Boys Club’ with connotations of elitism and tradition. To move to a position more in line with modern ideals of accessibility, transparency, honesty and progression.

Big Data Ldn

Join the Data Revolution.

Business and society are being disrupted by the process of Digital Transformation, whereby traditional industries find their business models and corporate cultures threatened by revolutionary ideas and techniques pioneered by the technology giants of Silicon Valley. As a result, the effective use of data is now a top priority in business, with data becoming the new currency IT and business leaders are hungry for insights; they want to learn from the internet giants and from data pioneers in traditional organisations. There’s no substitute for learning from peers and from experts in person but there was no open access, democratic event in this space in the UK. Big Data Ldn. was launched to answer this need.

We were asked to create an identity, credibility and a visual shorthand that the target audience of
potential speakers, sponsors and delegates would readily understand and engage with.

Pure London AW/15

Agents of change

The UK’s number one leading fashion trade event that brings together the entire fashion supply chain, right the way from fibre through to finished ready to wear garments.

Building on from previous years, we were asked to create a new brand look and feel, and visual language for the event. A call to arms to gather a collective of industry leaders and influencers. This was then applied through print, online, and the event environment.

Jewellery & Watch

Designs to inspire and seduce.

Jewellery & Watch Birmingham is the biggest launch platform for new jewellery and watch collections and designers. With more than 400 suppliers from the UK and overseas displaying 40,000 new pieces and showcasing over 600 different brands.

Noughts & Crosses Pizzeria

Trafficmaster Branding

Intelligent driving.

Trafficmaster, one of the UK’s leading journey management companies had lost its way in the plethora of emerging satellite navigation brands. A comprehensive re-branding and re-positioning was required if Trafficmaster were to, rightly, stand above their so-called competitors.

We introduced the theme of ‘Intelligent Driving’ supported by a new contemporary identity that could be rolled out across all communication channels. Whilst unique this branding also stayed true to the Trafficmaster worldwide group vision and identity.

Pure London AW14

Fashion stalwart gets a makeover

Pure London is the most comprehensive womenswear event in the UK and the largest gathering of fashion buyers outside the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

With the objective of establishing Pure London as THE contemporary women’s clothing event the brand needed to be re-energised and clarified – a stylish and evocative fashion shoot ensured that Pure became a brand that the fashion industry aspired to.

Baxterstorey Training

Real people. Real Stories.

BaxterStorey are the UK’s leading independent contract catering services provider. Their heritage has been built on sustainably sourcing fresh, seasonal, local produce, combined with the dedicated training and development of its people. And in challenging times the need for excellent people is even greater.

To bring a new sense of importance and engagement to Baxter Storey’s training programmes we developed a suite of material that featured real people telling real stories – focused on the success they have achieved through the company’s training and development programme.

Think Dangerous.

5* Housekeeping is key to a safer working environment.

WSH is a parent company for the leading brands operating in the food services and hospitality sectors. With over 4,500 staff employed across UK operations they take health & safety very seriously indeed. While standards are already high the company constantly strives for an accident-free work environment.

Simply publishing the rules is not enough. We needed people to ‘Think Dangerously’, to fully understand the consequences of malpractice. By uncovering real life stories and using employees to champion the campaign, the messages became real – as a result employees could completely engage with the communications.
